Principal’s Monthly Letter in June 2025
Principal’s Monthly Letter to Parents
30th June, 2025
Dear parents,
June brings midsummer’s glow and the fragrance of orchids across our campus. With the joint efforts of faculty, students, and parents, the 2024-2025 academic year concludes successfully. This academic year, we witnessed our pupils’ growth—dedicated in classrooms, confident in competitions, embodying the SHZS spirit. Your unwavering support, whether through parent seminars, open days, or daily communication, has fostered a nurturing environment for their holistic development. Meanwhile, the enhanced new Campus and elevated school reputation reflect our home-school collaboration. This partnership remains the cornerstone of our educational ethos. Let’s now reflect on the achievements of this meaningful journey.
TEACHING AND LEARNING:
Primary School: We refined management systems to enhance student conduct and class efficiency. Mentorship, combined with assemblies and subject weeks, created inclusive learning opportunities. The “Around the World in 80 Days” program connected theory with real-world values. Open Days and parent-teacher conferences strengthened home-school collaboration. For teaching, visual goal-tracking improved workflow efficiency. All subjects completed Holistic Curriculum Guides to reinforce core competencies. Dual-teaching classes delivered personalized instruction, showcasing our global approach. Our teachers also excelled in district competitions, setting new benchmarks for regional education.
Middle School: Field studies and enrichment trips broadened students’ horizons through real-world learning. Grade assemblies, “Fourteen & Fearless” ceremony, and G9 graduation fostered holistic development while strengthening home-school partnerships. Our classroom revolution adopted evaluation rubrics to tailor professional development, boosting instructional impact. The school-based research cycle produced an Academic Action Guide, deepening pedagogical innovation. For graduates, we delivered integrated academic planning, exam preparation, and tailored counseling. Additionally, G7 & G8’s top-tier performance in district assessments validated our teaching reforms, with balanced excellence across disciplines.
SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT:
Guided by “Shenghua Student Profile,” we established a systematic curriculum framework. The Nine-year Integrated Subject Manual 1.0 ensures vertical coherence and horizontal synergy across learning objectives, content delivery, and visual outcome assessments. Our P4C program spans all grades, using societal debates and scenario analysis to spark critical thinking. The CCA curriculum’s five domains enable personalized timetables, creating a clear “interest cultivation – skill extension – innovation breakthrough” pathway.
Through strategic global engagements, we successfully hosted the “China-Australia Cup” & “Trivium Cup” English Speech Event, further establishing our bilingual education brand. The school welcomed distinguished guests including delegations from South Sudan and Thailand, showcasing our diverse educational approaches. Our Intel-partnered AI program has become a regional benchmark, while newly obtained JMC, DofE and JMO accreditations have enriched our multilingual curriculum system, demonstrating our international vision to nurture globally competent talents.
We implemented comprehensive upgrades across logistic support systems to create a safer, smarter campus environment. The redesigned uniforms combine aesthetic appeal with enhanced safety features, while our dining services offer nutritionally balanced meals in culturally immersive settings. The dormitory’s innovative dual management model has redefined residential living standards. Our school buses feature intelligent routing for precise door-to-door service, supported by a dedicated hotline for immediate assistance, ensuring seamless operations that underpin our educational mission.

From artistic creativity, athletic excellence, STEM AI innovation to cross-cultural exchanges, they shone brightly in every endeavor.
