A Wishing Letter to Parents for Chinese New Year 2025

Dear Parents：
2024 is like a magnificent and colorful scroll gently rolling up, quietly saying goodbye with a touch of beauty and sentiment. Over the past year, with the joint efforts of all teachers, students, and parents, Shenghua Zizhu Bilingual has continuously thrived, leaving an indelible and wonderful mark on 2024. Here, on behalf of all the staff and faculty, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all parents for your unwavering trust and support!
2024 was pivotal for the school’s pursuit of high-quality development. Guided by the core values of “Excellence and Balance, Open to See the World,” the school closely centered on the themes of “Quality, Reputation, Bilingualism, and Nine-year Continuity.” Through integrated inquiry-based learning and diverse teaching methods, it successfully implemented the concept of “holistic education with academics at its core.” Throughout the year, the school reaped numerous educational and teaching rewards. The Primary School shone in external assessments, and the Middle School achieved remarkable high school entrance examination results. Pupils excelled in various events and competitions home and abroad. The primary-middle transition program and the Trivium program enhanced the academic coherence of the nine-year education. The in-depth combination of the tutorial system and year-group assemblies provided every pupil with a spotlight. The nine-year curriculum framework emphasised main courses and co-curricular activities, fostering parallel development in “academics and personal growth.” The school always prioritises “students first,” integrates high-quality domestic and international educational resources, and actively constructs diverse development paths to create a broad platform for children’s all-round development. It endeavors to allow every teacher to explore their passions and expertise, attaining proficiency in their fields. Futhermore, maintaining an open stance of “open-door education,” the school aims to ensure that every family can “have faith in their choice.” Looking back on this fulfillingand wonderful year, we feel profound pride and contentment.
2025 marks a significant milestone in the school’s development journey. In September, the new Lanxiang Lake campus will see a complete transformation, not only in hardware facilities but also in educational concepts. Thus, the school will commence a new chapter, shouldering a brand-new mission. In the coming year, I will lead all teachers and students to keep “crossover.” Through project-based integrated inquiry learning, we’ll break down knowledge barriers and clarify the logical links between different disciplines. Cultural exploration tours and community research activities will open up practical avenues, building experiential bridges across diverse fields. Meanwhile, we’ll continue to strive in multiple aspects, including academic quality, subject development, curriculum integration, bilingual education, inquiry-based exploration, and international cooperation. As ever, our aim is to create a broader pathway for each individual. I firmly hold the belief that learning is about forging connections and achieving cross-area understanding. The effective transfer of learning capabilities enables children to attain “mastery” in knowledge, thinking, emotions, and skills. Ultimately, every child will find their own stage in life and radiate their unique brilliance. As therefore, I’m incredibly eager for the new year, when all teachers and students of Shenghua Zizhu Bilingual can “consistently crossover, embrace renewal, achieve mastery, and shine brightly” together, helping the children learn to “confront the uncertain future with assured capabilities”!
When the dawn of the new year gently spills on the lattice of time, 2025 has joyfully kicked off with visions and blessings. On the occasion of this Chinese Spring Festival, I wish all lovely Shenghua pupils and parents good health and a happy family! May everything go as you wish in the Year of the Snake.
