7月25日，2026年全国室外游泳精英赛在成都双流体育中心游泳馆拉开帷幕。在首个比赛日的男子50米蛙泳项目中，我校体育副校长覃海洋夺得冠军！

On July 25, the 2026 National Outdoor Swimming Elite Competition kicked off at the Chengdu Shuangliu Sports Center Natatorium. On the first race day, Qin Haiyang, Vice Principal for Sports of our school, claimed gold in the men’s 50m breaststroke.

在上午的预赛中，覃海洋便展现出了良好的竞技状态，以26秒95排名预赛第一晋级。在晚间的决赛中，覃海洋从第四泳道出发，最终凭借出色的发挥，以26秒78的成绩摘得金牌。值得一提的是，覃海洋也是预赛和决赛中唯一游进27秒的选手。

In the morning heats, Qin showed strong form, clocking 26.95 seconds to top the standings and advance to the final. In the evening final, starting from lane 4, he delivered an outstanding performance to touch home in 26.78 seconds, securing the gold medal. Notably, he was the only swimmer to break the 27-second barrier in both the heats and the final.

The Class of 2026 at Sunward Bilingual School achieved near-perfect average PE scores, with historic gains in subject results, overall performance and admissions to top high schools. 赛场奋力冲刺，考场从容作答，所有亮眼成绩，源自日复一日的坚守与笃定。中考前夕，覃海洋副校长曾专程为即将奔赴考场的初三学子加油助威，他以自己的训练与拼搏经历告诉孩子们：真正的强者，不是从不失手，而是在压力之下依然相信自己。如今，他在全国赛场上夺冠的英姿，恰是对这份鼓励最有力的回响——冠军的精神，正激励着每一位圣华紫竹学子在自己的赛道上勇往直前、全力以赴。

On the eve of the entrance exam, Vice Principal Qin made a special visit to encourage our ninth-graders, sharing his own training journey and reminding them: true champions are not those who never falter, but those who trust themselves under pressure. Now, his victorious performance on the national stage echoes that very encouragement—the spirit of a champion continues to inspire every student to push forward with all their might on their own paths.
