At SHZS, learning extends beyond the classroom, and growth has no boundaries. Through discipline-specific activities and diverse academic competitions, the school builds a global stage for students to sharpen their skills and shine—embodying the academic responsibility and youthful energy.

Chinese: Where Literature Meets Technology

中学部语文组开启主题读书月，以 “苏轼的一生” 为主线，带领学生穿越千年，与宋代文豪深度对话。

During the reading month, students engaged with the life of Su Shi, a literary giant of the Song Dynasty.

中学部语文周主题为 “文汇寰宇 技映星河——中外文学中的科技元素探究”。文学与科技在此交融，人文与思辨并肩而行。通过探究式、沉浸式活动，学生在书香中提升人文素养，在探索中锤炼科学思维。

The Chinese Week theme, “Exploring Tech Elements in Literature”, blended humanities with critical thinking. Through inquiry and immersion, students elevated their literacy and sharpened scientific reasoning.

Maths: Unlocking the Joy of Math

数学周以“环游地球80天”为主线，静态创意展与动态舞台汇演双线并行，融合艺术、文化与创意，每一件作品都凝聚着学生对数学的思考与探索，让抽象的概念变得触手可及。“汇演共赏”六大篇章将数学与音乐、舞蹈、戏剧等艺术形式融合，现场高潮迭起，同学们在趣味互动中真正爱上数学。

Themed around “80 Days Around the World”, Math Week featured both static creative exhibits and a dynamic stage show. Math merged with music, dance, and drama, making abstract concepts hands-on and fun. Students truly fell in love with math through engaging, interactive performances.

Ocean Voices: Six Nations, One Blue Mission

在全球化的大背景下，海洋作为地球生命的摇篮和人类可持续发展的重要空间，其重要性日益凸显。本次项目聚焦不同国家的海洋保护，采用团体合作的模式，制作海洋保护大球、设计海洋保护英语标语，撰写海洋保护倡议书，制作海洋文化和胡海洋保护的展板，学生化身海洋保护大使进行海洋保护宣讲，旨在让中学生通过沉浸式的英语学习活动，提升英语语言运用能力、跨文化交流能力、团队协作能力和问题解决能力。

This project focused on ocean protection across nations. Students worked in teams to create display globes, design slogans, write advocacy letters, and produce exhibition boards. As ocean ambassadors, they presented their findings—enhancing English proficiency, cross-cultural communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Humanities: The Light of Critical Thinking

从校内的“寰宇辩论峰会”出发，文综组以辩论赋能学生成长。同学们在这里锤炼逻辑与表达，勇敢站上更大的舞台——上海市青少年STEM学术演讲与辩论锦标赛和上海少年儿童个人辩论赛。凭借扎实的功底与出色的临场发挥，喜获佳绩。思辨的种子，已在更广阔的天地生根发芽。

Starting from the school’s Global Debate Summit, students honed logic and expression, advancing to competitions like the Shanghai Youth STEM Debate & Speech Championship and the Shanghai Children’s Debate Tournament—earning impressive results. The seeds of critical thinking are now spreading far and wide.

科技创新已成为国家竞争力的核心引擎。理综组科学周活动以“科技强国”为主线，采用项目驱动与跨学科融合的模式。学生化身“未来工程师”与“星际探索者”，深度参与一系列沉浸式科学探究活动。主要包括：“环游80天未来小屋”可持续建筑设计、“火星挑战”生存模拟任务、科创大赛获奖作品展示，以及“大国重器——中国航空军民飞机展”国防科技探秘。同时，活动还设置了“从深渊到太空——探索极端生命”与“深度解读‘太阳小爆炸’的宇宙史诗”两场前沿科技讲座。通过这一系列项目，学生系统提升科学思维能力、工程实践能力、创新设计能力，并厚植家国情怀。在走近“祝融号”“奋斗者”等国之重器的过程中，学生深刻理解科技自立自强对民族复兴的深远意义。

Technology and innovation are key to national strength. This Science Week, students became “future engineers” and “space explorers,” engaging in sustainable design, Mars survival simulations, STEM exhibits, and defense tech showcases. Through lectures on extreme life and solar explosions, they deepened their scientific thinking, hands‑on skills, and sense of mission—understanding that technological self‑reliance drives national rejuvenation.

除了丰富多彩的教研组活动，圣华紫竹双语学校中学部的学子们在各类学术竞赛中同样表现亮眼，展现出强劲的学术竞争力与全球视野。

Beyond activities, SHZS secondary students have demonstrated strong academic competitiveness and global awareness.

圣华学子在UKMT-TMC中国区总决赛中，4人斩获团体全国第二名，并成功晋级2026年英国初中决战（全国仅8席）。在AMC美国数学测评及澳大利亚AMC测评中，多名学子跻身全球前10%、斩获全国一等奖，顺利晋级AIME。

At the UKMT-TMC China Finals, four students earned national 2nd place and qualified for the UK Junior Finals. In AMC, multiple students ranked in the global top 10%, won national 1st prizes, and advanced to AIME.

此外，还有2名同学在《数学通讯》第25届中学生数学论文竞赛中荣获三等奖；1名同学在中国教育学会有奖征文活动中荣获金奖。 

Two students received 3rd prize in the Mathematics Communication High School Essay Competition, and one won gold in a CSE essay contest.

圣华学子在“世界学者杯”全球轮中6人成功斩获耶鲁冠军轮直通资格，同时共摘得个人赛12金、15银，团体赛1座奖杯、3金、6银，总计37枚奖牌。上海市英语思创比赛35人获奖，获市级团体三等奖和区级团体二等奖；第十一届Spelling Bee国际拼词大赛53人获奖；ESDP英语演讲与辩论五项17人获奖；“未来之星”英语演讲活动6人获奖；“华澳杯”暨“博雅杯”英语展演决赛4人获奖；《少年非常道》活动3人获奖；另有1名学生在SSP上海学生英文报发表文章。

At the WSC Global Round, six students qualified for the Yale Championship Round, winning a total of 12 gold and 15 silver individual medals, plus 1 team trophy, 3 gold, and 6 silver. In the Shanghai English Innovation Competition, 35 students won 3rd place team at city level and 2nd at district level. At the 11th SPBCN, 53 won awards; 17 in ESDP; 6 in Future Star; 4 in CAC & Trivium Cup; 3 in Shanghai Youth Speech Contest; and one had an article published in SSP.

上海市青少年STEM学术演讲与辩论锦标赛，20人参赛，分别获得团体铜奖、二等奖和团体三等奖，及最佳辩手；上海少年儿童个人辩论赛黄立言同学获得初中组冠军，顾晟潇同学获得初中组殿军。1名学生在闵行区防震减灾科普技能竞赛中荣获二等奖。

At the Shanghai Youth STEM Debate & Speech Championship, 20 students won bronze, second, and third place team awards, plus Best Debater. In the Shanghai Children’s Debate Tournament, Huang Liyan won junior division champion and Gu Shengxiao placed fourth. One student won second prize in a district disaster prevention competition.

1名同学在全国青少年人工智能创新挑战赛中荣获银奖；1名同学在第三十五届金钥匙科技活动中荣获一等奖。1名同学在第22届上海未来工程师大赛中荣获二等奖。2名同学在第二十四届上海市青少年计算机创新应用竞赛（闵行赛区）中获奖，其中中二等奖1人，三等奖1人。在第15届上海市青少年校园影视创作实践活动中，5名同学参赛荣获市级三等奖。

One student received silver at the National Youth AI Innovation Challenge; one won first prize at the 35th Golden Key Science & Technology Activity; one earned second prize at the 22nd Shanghai Future Engineer Competition; two won awards at the 24th Shanghai Youth Computer Innovation Contest.

In the 15th Shanghai Youth Campus Film & TV Creation Activity, five students won third prize at the city level.
