第九季ITSOx团体赛全国半决赛在上海举行，在小学组团队赛中，我校“圣华紫竹双语战队”脱颖而出，从全国16支队伍中率先晋级全国总决赛。

Our primary group excelled in the 9th season of the ITSOx Team Competition national semi-finals and advanced to the national finals ahead of the other 15 teams from across the country.

ITSOx团体赛

2016年，SPBCN国家组委会在全球首创了以团队为单位进行的拼词比赛——ITSOx团体赛，ITSO是集竞技性、娱乐性和观赏性为一体，速拼、字母接龙、你问我答、线索拼词等一共10种比赛类型，学生以学校战队为单位，互相比拼的国际团体拼字奥林匹克竞赛。

In 2016, the ITSOx Team Competition,the world’s first team-based character puzzle competition, was organized by the SPBCN National Organizing Committee. It integrates competitiveness with entertainment , and consists of a total of 10 types of competitions.

SEMI FINALS

PART 1 前期准备

从2023年9月招募报名开始，来自小学部的7名学生通过学校初选，组成战队，在备战老师的带领下，小选手们参与了现场模拟培训，多次赛项分配。他们不惧艰难，学习词库，全力备战，最终踏上了这次拼词之旅。

Since the registration began in September 2023, 7 students from the primary school were selected and dedicatedly prepared for the competition before embarking on this spelling journey.

PART 2 全力奋战

在极速拼词与词源挑战的环节中，Spellers不断挑战自我，突破极限，展现出令人惊叹的反应速度与扎实的知识储备。在线索拼词、慧眼识词和九宫格拼词等环节中，展现了并驾齐驱的实力，展开了激烈的角逐。我们的小选手们在输赢起伏中进入第三场对战，面对二负困境仍然保持冷静，连续赢下三局实现逆转，最终成功晋级全国总决赛。

In the Speed Spelling and Etymology Challenge, the spellers constantly challenged themselves, demonstrating astonishing reaction speed and solid knowledge reserves. Our young players successfully advanced to the national finals despite the fierce competition.

孙周晓同学在Super Word环节，顶着巨大的压力，拼写出九个字母的单词，荣获Spelling Star称号。

Under tremendous pressure in the Super Word segment, Sun Zhouxiao skillfully spelled out a nine-letter word and was crowned with the title of Spelling Star.

PART 3 学生感悟

在赛场上与强者的较量让我兴奋，也让我看到了更广阔的世界。接下来的两个月我还要更加努力备战，和团队中优秀的哥哥姐姐们一起迎接北京的全国赛！

第一次参加ITSOx团体赛，我既激动又紧张。在Spelling Bee对决中，面对极其强大的对手，我在老师和队友的鼓励下迎难而上，努力备战五月份的总决赛。

The competition not only enhanced the children’s English and academic skills but also cultivated their global perspective and cross-cultural communication abilities. We look forward to seeing you in the National Competition in May!
