环球探险 创意无限│小学英语周活动 English Week Activities
圣华紫竹双语学校小学部的英语周，如同一场精彩纷呈的环球旅行。从G1的“Talking Show: Animals I Like”到G5的“环游地球80天”主题探险，引领着不同年级的孩子们踏上一场场关于语言、文化和创意的奇妙探险。
This year’s English Week was like an exciting global journey, leading students from different grades on marvelous adventures filled with language, culture, and creativity from G1’s “Talking Show: Animals I Like” to G5’s “Around the World in 80 Days” theme exploration.
G1
Talking Show:Animals I Like
Talking Show: Animals I Like结合“环游地球80天”项目，G1跟着“环游地球80天”的路线，去发现每个国家的动物朋友。他们不仅学到了好多新知识，还做了好多有趣的研究呢！
In “Talking Show: Animals I Like,” connected to the “Around the World in 80 Days” project, the children embarked on a journey to discover the animal friends of different countries. They not only learned a lot of new knowledge but also conducted fascinating research!
新西兰有个会唱歌的几维鸟，中国有个圆滚滚的大熊猫，埃及有神秘的眼镜蛇，加拿大有勤劳的河狸建房子，巴西有跑得飞快的美洲豹，还有俄罗斯雪白可爱的北极熊。小朋友们对这些动物朋友真是超级喜欢，每次都迫不及待地想要了解更多！
In New Zealand, they discovered the singing kiwi bird; in China, the chubby panda; in Egypt, the mysterious cobra; in Canada, the hardworking beaver building its house; in Brazil, the fast-running jaguar; and in Russia, the snowy polar bear. The little ones loved these animal friends and couldn’t wait to learn more about them!

G2
Reading makes the world bigger
为了激发孩子们对英语阅读的兴趣和热情，提高英语口语表达能力和自信心，G2老师们组织了一系列丰富有趣的活动。学生每天坚持20分钟英文阅读，并在《阅读记录册》上记录阅读足迹，本次英语周的活动，孩子们不仅享受阅读绘本的快乐，还能赚取图书币在book fair中交换自己喜爱的英语图书哦！
To spark students’ interest in reading English books and improve their speaking skills and confidence, G2 teachers organized a series of fun activities. Students committed to reading for 20 minutes each day and recorded their reading progress in their “Reading Record.” During English Week, they not only enjoyed the joy of reading picture books but also earned “book bucks” to exchange for their favorite English books at the book fair!
结合“环游地球80天”项目，孩子们用六国元素装扮教室。
As part of the “Around the World in 80 Days” themed program, the children decorated their classrooms with elements from six countries.
孩子们积极参与图书币和活动Logo的精心设计评选，用于“官方货币”使用。
They also eagerly participated in the design and selection of “book bucks” and the activity logo for official use.
与同伴们分享喜爱的英语小故事，外教老师们和孩子们分享自己国家的传统故事。
They shared their favorite English stories with classmates, while expat teachers introduced traditional tales from their own countries.
变装大游行，孩子们变身为他们最爱的书中角色，穿上精心准备的服装，来到G1各班教室，接受了最最宝贵的人气投票。
In the costume parade, the children dressed as their favorite book characters, wearing carefully prepared costumes and visiting G1 classrooms for the most exciting popularity vote!

Spelling Bee: Words around the World
孩子们化身小小探险家，搜集六国风情，解锁主题词汇。词汇化作色彩斑斓的便利贴，装饰在国家主题环创墙上。孩子们思维碰撞，六国文化璀璨交汇，还亲手绘制国家单词卡片，每一张都是独一无二的艺术品，承载着他们对语言的热爱和对世界的向往。
The children became little explorers, collecting cultural treasures from six countries and unlocking themed vocabulary. The words turned into colorful sticky notes, decorating the cultural walls representing each country. Students collaborated, blending cultures, and even hand-drew country word cards, each one a unique work of art, reflecting their love for language and their curiosity about the world.
重头戏来啦！英语周主题活动—“Spelling Bee: Words around the World”，决赛圆满落幕！小选手们大放异彩，现场气氛热烈非凡！恭喜所有参赛者，单词小达人荣耀加冕！
And here’s the highlight! The English Week theme event—“Spelling Bee: Words Around the World”—reached its exciting conclusion! The participants shone brightly, and the atmosphere was electric! Congratulations to all the contestants, our little word champions!

I am an architect：Dream school
孩子们以小组为单位自主学习探究六国标志性建筑以及校园环境和布局，孩子们化身圣华紫竹双语学校的小小建筑师，设计校园平面图和立体模型，并运用课堂所学语言知识进行介绍，孩子们充分发挥了想象力和创造力，提升语言表达能力，培养团队合作精神，同时增强了学生对于校园生活的热爱之情。
In groups, the students explored iconic buildings from six countries, as well as campus environments and layouts. They became little architects of Shenghua Zizhu Bilingual School, designing campus floor plans and 3D models. They also presented their designs, applying language skills they learned in class. The students fully used their imagination and creativity, improving their language expression, fostering teamwork, and deepening their love for school life.
“Dream School”主题展，校园平面图在他们笔下变得活灵活现，立体模型更是让人眼前一亮。每一处设计都充满了他们的创意和热情，仿佛要把整个宇宙都装进这所梦想学校里。
In the “Dream School” exhibition, the campus layouts came to life, and the 3D models were impressive. Every design sparkled with creativity and passion, as though they were trying to fit the whole universe into their dream school!

Ted for the Animals
G5英语周活动将学习与探险巧妙结合，以“环游地球80天”为主题，深入探究六国特色动物。每位学生化身为勇敢的小探险家，围绕各自国家的动物展开了一场场精彩纷呈的研究之旅。
G5’s English Week event cleverly combined learning with adventure, using the “Around the World in 80 Days” theme to explore the distinctive animals of six countries. Each student became a brave little explorer, embarking on an exciting research journey centered on the animals of their chosen country.

他们用生动的语言、详实的资料、多彩的图片和视频，通过激情洋溢的TED演讲将遥远而神秘的动物王国带进了我们的课堂，让每一个角落都充满了探索的喜悦与发现的惊喜。激发了孩子们对未知世界的好奇心，培养了他们的探索精神与责任感，让每一位参与者都成为了保护地球生态、珍爱自然生命的小小使者。
Through vivid language, detailed research, colorful pictures, and videos, they brought the distant and mysterious animal kingdoms into our classroom with energetic TED-style talks. The classroom was filled with the joy of exploration and the excitement of discovery. This activity sparked students’ curiosity about the unknown world, nurtured their spirit of exploration, and cultivated a sense of responsibility, making each participant a little ambassador for protecting the Earth’s ecology and cherishing natural life.
英语周的舞台，每个孩子都是主角，绽放着独特光彩。孩子们在活动中收获知识、快乐与成长，也让我们看到了无限可能。让我们一起期待下一个英语周，再赴这场欢乐又有意义的盛会吧！
Every grade was a star during English Week, shining with its own unique brilliance. Through these activities, the students gained knowledge, joy, and growth, and we witnessed limitless possibilities.
