重磅喜讯｜剑桥、朗思两大国际英语考点落户我校 Official Test Centers

继与北京外国语大学国际教育集团携手推进小学外语学科建设之后，上海圣华紫竹双语学校再迎喜讯——剑桥CEQ英语考点与朗思（LanguageCert）官方考点正式落地。这意味着，圣华紫竹双语的孩子们不用出校门，即可参加官方标准化英语测评。

Following our partnership with the Beijing Foreign Studies University International Education Group to advance primary foreign language education, Shanghai Sunward Bilingual School celebrates another milestone: the official launch of both a Cambridge CEQ English Test Center and a LanguageCert test center. This means students can now take official standardized English assessments without leaving campus.

Cambridge CEQ qualifications include KET, PET, and FCE within the Cambridge English framework, while LanguageCert offers flexible assessments spanning A1 to C2 levels. Convenient, authoritative, and standardized, these pathways provide students with a clear progression in their English learning journey.

Beyond these newly introduced benchmarks, the school has also built a comprehensive English learning ecosystem—from classroom to co-curricular experiences, from foundational development to global competence, from differentiated instruction to cross-cultural engagement. Now, we invite you to step into daily life of our school and see how students truly “connect with the world through language.”

小学部根据年级学段特征，将进一步融合即将落地的北外国际基石英语课程，逐年级逐步分层分类走班，结合拼读、阅读、写作、口语及日常课堂观察，开展多维度、持续性的形成性评价。中学部英语课程则构建精准的差异化走班教学模式，深度赋能个体差异性发展，发现并点亮每个孩子的独特光芒。

At the primary level, students are grouped progressively by grade, integrating the upcoming BFSU International Foundation English curriculum. Through phonics, reading, writing, speaking, and ongoing classroom observation, the school implements multi-dimensional, continuous formative assessment.At the secondary level, English courses adopt a precise differentiated class model, empowering individualized development and helping each student discover and develop their unique strengths.

“Around the World in 80 Days” is a school-developed interdisciplinary inquiry-based program, recognized as a key education project of Minhang. Each year, students explore six countries through cross-disciplinary learning—from culture and geography to language expression and artistic creation. Through immersive experiences and in-depth inquiry, students “travel the world””without leaving campus, building a meaningful bridge to see and understand the world.

The Global Perspectives course, introduced from Cambridge International Education, is taught entirely in English by international teachers. Using English as a tool, students explore cultural diversity and global issues while building confidence in authentic communication. Through this program, students have achieved outstanding results in the World Scholar’s Cup, advancing to the Yale Round and earning top awards, demonstrating strong academic capabilities and global competitiveness.

Subjects such as Science, STEM, and Design & Technology are delivered through full English immersion, while arts and sports classes adopt a co-teaching model with Chinese and international teachers. In these dynamic learning environments, language is continuously activated, understood, and expressed in real contexts—developing students’ comprehension, communication, and interdisciplinary academic skills, making English a true tool for thinking and global connection.

Our school continues its collaboration with the East China Normal University Faculty of Foreign Languages. Building on initiatives such as the China-Australia Cup & Trivium Cup English Showcase and the K–University Integrated Global Competence Development Base, this partnership further strengthens English curriculum development and teacher professional growth.

In addition to English, the school offers Spanish and French CCAs in small-group settings. Learning an additional language opens new windows to the world and helps students gradually build global competence through diverse cultural contexts.
