Classroom quality defines educational excellence, which is built through persistent research on real-world problems. Committed to “holistic education with core academics,” the school treats teaching research as a key driver of improvement. Recently, the secondary division has held multiple high-level research activities—showcasing both teacher expertise and the school’s strength in advancing its nine-year integrated disciplinary framework.

英语组 | 素养与中考双驱动,教研生态全面焕新 

English Group: Dual Drivers of Competency and Exams, Teaching Ecosystem Renewed

11月18日,闵行区九年级英语教研活动在学校艺术中心举行。周紫薇老师写作课《A Crime Report》采用情境认知与过程写作的教学法,将写作任务嵌入“侦探案件归档”的真实情境。区教研员艺琳老师从理念与策略等方面给予高度评价。

On November 18, the Minhang District Grade 9 English teaching seminar was held at the school’s art center. Teacher Zhou Ziwei’s writing class, A Crime Report, applied a situational cognition and process writing approach, embedding the writing task in an authentic “detective case filing” scenario. District teaching researcher Yilin gave high praise from both conceptual and strategic perspectives.

12月3日,教研组再次邀请教研员开展中考专题指导,实现“素养导向”与“备考实战”的双线贯通。

On December 3, the teaching research group once again invited a teaching researcher to provide specialized guidance for the high school entrance examination, achieving a dual focus on “competency development” and “exam preparation.”

Chinese Language Group: Tackling Challenges on Two Fronts, Expanding Reach Through High-Level Events

11月27日,在全国430余名教师线上线下同步参与的华东师大基础教育教研联盟研讨会上,张阳阳老师《景语皆情语》示范课与朱晓伟、李新老师的经验分享获华东师范大学叶丽新教授盛赞“精准破解读写脱节痛点”。

On November 27, at an East China Normal University seminar joined by over 430 teachers online and offline, Zhang Yangyang’s demonstration class “Scenery as Emotion” and the sharing sessions by Zhu Xiaowei and Li Xin won praise from Professor Ye Lixin for “precisely addressing the disconnect between reading and writing.”

12月4日,闵行区语文教研活动在学校艺术中心召开。胡善昆老师《童年》整本书阅读课以任务链引导“读—析—悟”,成为核心案例。姜淼老师分享《红岩》整本书阅读“三拟任务单”的课堂实践经验获与会专家闵行区教研员鲍清的高度认可。

On December 4, the Minhang District Chinese teaching seminar was held at the school’s art center. Teacher Hu Shankun’s whole-book reading class on Childhood guided students through “reading, analyzing, and reflecting” via a task chain, serving as a key case study. Teacher Jiang Miao’s sharing on the “three-step task sheet” approach for teaching Red Crag received high recognition from district teaching researcher Bao Qing.

这些高质量教研活动的呈现,源于学校长期坚持的系统化教研实践。中小学各教研组坚持常态化教研,围绕真实课堂问题持续研讨,并主动邀请教研员、专家和同行走进校园交流指导,使教学改进始终扎根于日常课堂。

The high quality of these teaching research activities stems from the school’s long-term commitment to systematic teaching research practices. Each subject group in the primary and secondary divisions maintains regular teaching research sessions, consistently discussing real classroom challenges. 

学校每两周开展校级会议统筹“圣华学子画像”“九年一贯大学科建设”等核心议题,促进跨部门协同;学部每周持续开展教研,聚焦课程衔接、差异化支持、课堂与评价改进等方面,确保日常教学不断优化。

The recent teaching research activities of the Middle Schhol exemplify the school’s advancement in its nine-year integrated disciplinary development. A systematic school-based training mechanism is in place, featuring biweekly school-level meetings to coordinate key initiatives and weekly division-led sessions focused on curriculum coherence and teaching refinement.

顶层规划和一线课堂形成了良性互动,通过不断循环的改进,学校的教学体系更加稳固。九年贯通的学习设计、循序提升的课程结构,以及对每位学生成长轨迹的关注,正逐步成为圣华紫竹双语学校的鲜明特色。

Top-level planning and frontline classroom practice have formed a positive feedback loop. Through continuous cycles of refinement, the school’s teaching system has grown more robust. A coherent nine-year learning design, a progressively structured curriculum, and close attention to each student’s growth trajectory are increasingly becoming defining features of SHZS.

学校拥有一支专业而充满活力的教师团队,硕博教师比例超过六成,其中包括 8 位博士,毕业院校涵盖复旦、华东师大、交大、同济、中科院、南大等知名高校。具有海外学习经历的教师占比约三分之一,曾在约翰霍普金斯大学、香港大学、南洋理工大学等世界名校深造。多元而扎实的师资力量,为学生的成长提供了可靠而高质量的支持。

The school boasts a professional and dynamic faculty, with over 60% holding master’s or doctoral degrees—including eight PhDs from top institutions such as Fudan University, East China Normal University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. About one-third of the teachers have studied abroad, including at universities like Johns Hopkins and the University of Hong Kong. This diverse and well-qualified team provides strong support for student development.
