当冬日的暖阳洒满圣华紫双的校园，当英语的韵律唤醒每一个热爱表达的灵魂，一场属于全体圣华学子的英语狂欢正式启幕！这是圣华紫竹双语学校首届英语嘉年华，以“环游地球80天”为主题，带领同学们用语言跨越时空，探索世界，绽放自我。

As the winter sun bathes the campus of SHZS, and the rhythm of English awakens every soul passionate about expression, an English carnival for all Sunward students officially begins! This is the first English Carnival at Shanghai Sunward Bilingual School, themed “80 Days Around the World”, guiding students to transcend time and space through language, explore the world, and blossom into their true selves.

Part 01

乐启华章声动开幕

Melody Ignites the Carnival

轻快的旋律响起，开幕歌曲《Try Everything》奏响全场。一二年级孩子化身六国小精灵，身着特色服饰，笑容点亮舞台。师生齐声合唱，歌声如潮，点燃嘉年华序幕。此刻，歌声超越旋律，承载着对英语的热爱，传递着对盛会的期待。

As the lively melody of “Try Everything” filled the air, first and second graders, dressed as little ambassadors from six nations, lit up the stage with smiling faces. Teachers and students sang together, their voices rising like a tide to open the Carnival. In this moment, the song transcended melody—carrying their love for English and echoing their excitement for the event.

艺展万象语绎精彩

Stage Blooms with Talent

嘉年华的舞台从不缺精彩，各年级学子轮番登场，用不同形式诠释80天特色探究，尽显英语之美。

The carnival stage was never short of wonders, as students from every grade took t ue and creative ways, beautifully showcasing the charm of the English language.

一年级的小萌娃化身六国“动物小使者”萌趣开场。无论是威风的狮子还是灵动的甲壳虫，孩子们在充满童真的英语唱演中，完成了与世界的初次对话，也真切体会到了语言的新奇与乐趣。

The first graders kicked off the event adorably as “little animal ambassadors” from six nations. From majestic lions to lively beetles, the children, through their earnest English songs and performances, completed their first dialogue with the world and truly experienced the novelty and joy of language.

二年级的“英语配音秀”堪称一场听觉盛宴，孩子们将经典动画片段搬上舞台，用充满灵气的声音为角色注入全新生命。他们的演绎如此投入，令全场观众仿佛身临其境，共同漫游于一个个奇妙的音画世界。

The children from the second graders brought classic animation clips to the stage, infusing the characters with new life through their spirited voices. Their performances were so immersive that the entire audience felt transported, wandering together through one magical world after another.

三年级同学携手各年级拼词达人同台竞技，一场紧张刺激的“Spelling Bee”大赛热烈展开。小选手们凭借扎实的词汇积累与沉着冷静的临场表现，在挑战中展现坚持，在比拼中传递热爱。这不仅是一场词汇量的较量，更是一次心态与毅力的成长。

The third graders joined spelling champions from across all grades in an exhilarating “Spelling Bee” competition. With solid vocabulary skills and remarkable composure, the contestants demonstrated perseverance and passion throughout the contest.

四年级学子以“环游地球80天”为主题，将研究成果转化为一场生动的探索之旅。从资料搜集到舞台呈现，每一个环节都洋溢着他们对世界的好奇与热情。孩子们用法语介绍各国特色饮品，通过“诗歌花园”短剧串联起不同国度的诗人篇章。在这里，语言真正成为他们对话世界的窗口。

Centering on the theme “80 Days Around the World”, the fourth graders turned their research into a dynamic journey of exploration. From collecting materials to presenting on stage, every step overflowed with their curiosity and enthusiasm for the world. The children not only introduced characteristic beverages from various countries in French but also connected poetic works from different cultures through a “Poetry Garden” stage play.

五年级的舞台，是“思维的战场”——一场激烈的“英语辩论赛”正在这里上演。他们在辩论赛场上唇枪舌剑，围绕热门话题展开激烈交锋，以清晰的逻辑与流利的表达，尽显思辨与口才的双重魅力。

The stage of the fifth grade is a “battlefield of thinking” – an intense “English debate competition” is taking place here. They engaged in a fierce debate on the debating stage, engaging in intense confrontations around hot topics.

Awards Celebrate Growth

颁奖环节更是激动人心，当证书与掌声一同送到学子手中，每一张笑脸都闪耀着努力的光芒。从舞台到观众席，每一个主动参与的身影、每一次真诚的掌声、每一段投入的聆听，都让学习因快乐而自然发生，让表达因自信而愈发闪耀。

The award ceremony is even more exciting. When certificates and applause are delivered to the students, every smiling face shines with the light of hard work.

This English Carnival is a vibrant reflection of the SHZS English learning ecosystem. We are committed to building an immersive language environment that extends far beyond the classroom. Through interdisciplinary inquiry, multilingual exposure, and diverse platforms from drama to debate, we guide students to internalize English—from a subject, into a thinking tool, and ultimately, a cultural competence. Here, the goal is not only language acquisition but also building a framework for understanding the world and cultivating global competence for the future.
